Memorial Day...?

Sadly, I seriously had no idea what Memorial Day was meant to remind us about anymore. At least in my area, no one really thinks about it more than just that it's a holiday that exists, and it's a big shopping holiday so there's lots of traffic. I had to google what it's meant to celebrate.

Fallen warriors, forgive us for treating you as an excuse to go on shopping sprees we really don't deserve.
Also, thank you for fighting for us. Whenever or wherever it happened...You do matter.
