"Long ago, in a time where peace was more than just the law, the greatest god in the sky was always watching over the lovely countryside of Eurum. Upon his usual gaze came the sight of five lovely ladies, a group of sisters all filled with unique charm and beauty. Somehow, their sight caught the god's attention, making him find a way to see them closer.
"First the god took the form of a fruit in order to find himself closer to the eldest sister, Lily. She ate the fruit with not a seed left behind- and with those seeds, a baby was born in her virgin belly.
"He then found his way into the bath, where the next sister was beginning to clean herself. When Sally dunked her head below the water for only a moment, he swam into her and gave her a child.
"While dusting off the grave of their ancestors, the god took form of a fly to join with his beloved Mandy, electrifying her with a child to bear, when she'd heard she would never be able.
"The fiery Fiona found her baby after being burnt by boiling water- but was happy when all she got was pregnant and not a deadly disease that would kill her.
"And finally, the god found his way into the blood of the youngest sister, Belle. Belle, who had a bad heart, found herself suddenly well with child! The god had found a way to cure her so that she couldn't die before her time.
"After the five sisters gave birth, each one day after the other, their health slowly decayed. Watching their children grow, they noticed that each one had grown unusually fast, and were doing work children shouldn't be able.
"Lily's child grew flowers in the blink of an eye, magically growing them in his hands.
"Sally's child drank no water, and instead spit enough to fill a bath in order to water the fields.
"Mandy's child flew to the sky to seek game not found in the country daily.
"Fiona's child made sure the house stayed warm by lighting a fire with nothing but her heart...
"And the child of Belle, electrified more than five hearts combined, made salt from water by merely touching it, separating it with electric prowess.
"As each child grew older, the mothers died off. The children cried, never knowing anyone else. As they withered of age to join their lost loved ones, their spirits found root in other homes, waiting to find solace instead of pain..."

A fictional story that is an excerpt of sorts meant for Irina Academy. It's a folktale told in the fictional country of Eurum, where the story takes place. The tale is a big deal to the story, so I wrote it out and decided to share.
